DACC launch new cancer campaign

Donegal Action for Cancer Care are launching a major campaign to retain vital cancer service at Letterkenny General Hospital.
The first steps in DACC’s plan of action for the retention of the HSE-accredited Colposcopy Services Clinic for all patients on an equal access basis Letterkenny General Hospital will a press conference to launch the campaign next Monday, October 6, at 8pm in the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny.

A DACC spokesperson told the Journal: “Due to the lack of support from our elected representatives we are left with no option but to put public pressure on those whose job it is to represent us.”

“We aim to maintain the pressure at the highest possible level until the HSE-accredited Colposcopy Cancer Service is fully reinstated at Letterkenny General Hospital and LGH is named as one of the HSE approved Colposcopy Service Clinics for all women.”
