Stephen Orr of Burnside, Killea, has been sent forward for trial to the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court on two alleged firearms offences.
He is charged with the reckless discharge of a fire arm and the unauthorised possession of a firearm, known as a ‘BB Gun’, at Altaghderry, Carrigans on August 25, 2007.

Garda Peter Shankey Smith said he served the book of evidence in the case to the accused prior to his appearance in Letterkenny District Court last Thursday.

Judge Kevin Kilrane gave him an alibi warning before sending him forward to the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court.

He set bail at e300 and ordered the accused do not interfere with any witnesses in the case.
