Mulroy bridge on target for July '09 opening

The Mulroy Bay Bridge project is on course to be completed by its target deadline of July 2009, Milford Electoral Area committee has heard.
Engineer, Ardal McDermott reported that work was progressing well with nine of the 12 main supports now cast.

He added that almost 90 per cent of the immediate road works in the area were completed and no accidents had been reported during this construction phase.

He stated the planned completion date was July of next year and this was still the expected completion date.
