Self made millionaire to launch NW Business Week

A successful self-made millionaire will be launching the Ireland North-West Business Week at An Grianán Hotel, Burt this month. Deirdre Bounds, who has Irish parents, went from bedsit to millionaire businesswoman in 10 years.
She will be sharing her experiences with the unique cross-border initiative, describing how she took an unusual route to developing her business, as well as providing advice on how best to promote business ideas to potential customers and investors.

Ireland North West Business Week will run until 23rd May and it hopes to develop and grow local enterprise on both sides of the border.

Part financed by the European union through the Interreg IIIA Programme, four agencies, Derry City Council, Donegal County Council, North West Marketing and Donegal County Enterprise Board have collaborated to create a range of new supports for local businesses, with the aim of driving faster enterprise development in the region.
