Beautiful brown-eyed babe Thomas Mahon has proved THREE times he's the cutest tot in town after bagging Clonmany festival's bonny baby competition, again.
The gorgeous three-year-old, from Petrie Way, in Derry, has wowed and impressed judges of the Clonmany competition for the third year in a row, winning the popular competition.

Proud dad Maurice said the judges went gaga when they saw bubbly Thomas and admitted he had that 'special something about him'.

But Maurice said he was pleasantly surprised his good-looking son scooped the prestigious title of 'bonny baby' at Sunday's competition for the third time.

Maurice said Thomas definitely takes after his mum when it comes to looks.

He told the Journal: "He is beautiful, he takes after his mother in that way.

"And people do stop us to comment on him.

"He is quite a bubbly baby and has a big personality, they judged him on this and on looks too.

"It is a mixed competition so there are both boys and girls fighting for the title.

"We couldn't believe he had won it again."

Maurice said he and his wife Suzanne never even thought about entering Thomas in the competition.

But, it was Suzanne's sister Lorraine - who has a holiday home in Clonmany - and thought her charming nephew had a good chance of being crowned the winner.

Maurice said: "His aunt has entered him in the competition for the past three years.

"This time is the last one he can enter because he will be too old next year."

Maurice said he was delighted with Thomas's winning entry and joking said he'll be keeping hold of the snaps to tease him about it when he's older.
