A District Judge yesterday ordered a pre-sentence report before he sentences a twenty-two years old Waterside man who has admitted assaulting two ambulance personnel and a police officer.
John Paul Conaghan, from Fountain Hill, committed the three assault offences during an incident at Waterloo Street on September 4 last.

"Two of the injured parties were members of an ambulance crew who were trying to restrain him at the time", a prosecution solicitor told Derry Magistrate's Court.

District Judge Barney McElholm adjourned sentencing until September 2.
