Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was assaulted in Derry city centre.
A PSNI spokeswoman said the teenager - aged in her early teens - was approached by a man on Newmarket Street around 3:30pm on Tuesday afternoon.

The spokeswoman said the man behaved in "an inappropriate and indecent manner."

Police are treating the report as indecent assault and would like to hear from witnesses.

Police can be contacted on 0845 600 8000, alternatively information about crime can be passed anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity by calling 0800 555 111.
