Fire crews are tonight tackling a blaze at a derelict building in the centre of Strabane.
A number of residents have been evacuated from their homes in the Lower Main Street due to the possibility of suspected asbestos in the roof of the burning building.

A PSNI spokesman said people had been moved out of nearby homes as a precautionary measure.

The road has been closed to traffic and diversions are in operation.
