Gang attack appeal

Police have appealed for information after a gang attacked a man at Fahan Street.

The incident, which came to light on Wednesday, occurred in the early hours of Saturday, April 19.

The victim was attacked by a group of up to eight men as he walked down the steps at Fahan Street towards Rossville Street at approximately 2am.

Anyone with information regarding the incident has been to contact Strand Road station on 0845 600 8000 or the 'Crimestoppers' charity anonymously on freephone 0800 555 111.
