Burt based songstress Claire Sproule is set to release her long-awaited second album.
Following a break from music and a year living in Australia, Claire is about to release her brand new album ‘Shades Of Night’, on her own independent label.

Claire’s eponymous debut album was released on Parlophone Records and sold more than 10,000 units in Ireland. This second record has given Claire the chance to work with friends and family on an album that is very much a showcase of the musician today.

Brought up listening to Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell and Elvis Costello, Claire started playing the guitar aged 14, and immediately started writing her own songs.

Such was the strength of her performance that only months after playing at her local open mic night, the Managing Director of Parlophone Records was sitting in her living room talking about a future making music.

Since then, she has supported artists such as Dr John and Al Green in dream venues such as The Royal Albert Hall.

Last year she was also a Meteor Ireland Music Awards nominee for Best Irish Female.
