A night of wine and great music is being held at the Beech Hill Hotel next week.
World renowned guitarist, Carlos Bonell, will play some of his unique music as diners enjoy some of the finest culinary delights in Derry.
On Sunday, April 26, the Beech Hill Hotel will host a special evening featuring wine education and tasting by
Direct Wine Shipments and a five-course meal.
The evening will be topped off by Carlos Bonell playing music from his own personal collection of favourites.
Carlos said he was looking forward to the evening.
He said: "I hear the wine is good and I've chosen my favourite pieces to accompany it."
Carlos is celebrated for a career which includes television, film and CD recordings, worldwide tours, concertos with major orchestras, and the creation of his own ensemble.
He can be heard on the sound tracks of the Hollywood films such as City of Angels and The Honest Courtesan, and on BBC TV productions such as Inspector Morse and The Politician's Wife.
He has played at many international Festivals including the City of London, Aldeburgh, Helsinki, Israel, Tanglewood, Sydney, Istanbul, Hong Kong, and New York's Mostly Mozart Festival, and his tours take him as far as Australia, the Far East and South America.
Carlos has also formed musical associations with a wide variety of famous musicians including former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, guitarists John Williams and Paco Peña, violinists Salvatore Accardo and Pinchas Zukerman, and singers Patricia Rozario and Teresa Berganza.
