Raytheon 9 trial begins next week

The trial of the "Raytheon 9" is scheduled to begin in Belfast next week.
Nine local men, including veteran journalist Eamonn McCann, are charged in connection with a protest at the Raytheon facility in Springtown on August 9, 2006.

At the time, protesters claimed that "weapons manufactured by Raytheon were being used by Israel to bomb Lebanon". The trial is due to begin on Monday next.

It should be Raytheon in court! Their profits are more than $20 billion this year - profiting from the murder of innocent people! We do not want this company in our city!
