Thousands of young people in the city have voted for family favourite, 'Ghostbusters', to be screened at the Drive-In Movie at Ebrington this Hallowe'en night.
The massive 1980s box office smash hit starring Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and Sigourney Weaver, that coined the phrase 'Who you gonna call?' has been the resounding favourite since online voting began several weeks ago.

iver a spectacular visual show complete with a powerful soundtrack to make this Hallowe’en night one to remember.

Ghostbusters follows the antics of three oddball scientists Spengler, Stantz and Venkman, who have been kicked out of university and decide to go into business for themselves by trapping and removing ghosts from haunted houses.

When New York suddenly becomes the focus of cosmic supernatural activity, they wonder if have they bitten off more than they can chew?

The Drive-In Movie is supported by Derry City Council's Mayoral Programme and Ilex Urban Regeneration Company and organised by Earagail Arts Festival in partnership with the Foyle Film Festival.

The movie will be screened at 6pm with the Ebrington site opening to the public from 4pm.

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis with larger vehicles placed at the back to ensure visibility for smaller cars.

There will be no admittance for vans or larger vehicles.

The Ebrington site will afford everyone at the movie ringside seats for the city's spooktacular fireworks display which will begin at 8pm
