Derry band ‘Making Monsters’ will perform at ‘T in the Park’ in Scotland next month.

‘Making Monsters’ will rock the BBC Introducing Stage at the music festival where world famous bands such as ‘The Red Hot Chilli Peppers’, ‘The Stone Roses’ and ‘Bastille’ will also perform live.

“This is amazing news and we are absolutely delighted,” said ‘Making Monsters’ guitarist, Paul Monk.

“To be performing at a festival that includes acts like ‘The Stone Roses’ is a real dream come true for us,” he added.

‘Making Monsters’ formed in 2011 and the band are Emma Gallagher from Muff (vocals); Paul Monk from Derry (guitar); Gary Todd from Omagh (bass) and Brian Doherty from Derry (drums).

The band released their first E.P., ‘Attention’ in 2014 and followed it up with three further singles and music videos that were played extensively on BBC Radio 1. Their single ‘Nosebleed’ was featured by rock music channel and radio station, Kerrang.

‘Making Monsters’ released their new E.P., ‘Bad Blood’ in Sandino’s in May and they are expected to perform some of the songs from the record at ‘T in the Park’ next month.

The music video for their first single, ‘Better’, has been added to music channels Kerrang and Scuzz TV. The single also reached No. 14 in the official Kerrang charts.
