All quiet on the drama front - Artists at work in Playhouse

It couldn’t have been more appropriate. On Wednesday, as the world celebrated Valentine’s Day, 16 participants from the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) and Action Hearing Loss took to the stage to perform ‘My Hands, My Heart.’

CowParade travels to Pastures Mooo& 

CowParade, the worlds largest public art exhibition, was launched today in Belfast and Derry. The life sized fibre glass cows will be painted and put on display throughout Northern Ireland during summer 2012. Some of the life sized cows on the Peace Bridge in Derry this afternoon.

This is the story of Joyce Vincent who died in her London bed-sit in 2003, but is was three years before her body was discovered still surrounded by the Christmas presents she was wrapping and with the television still turned on. This film attempts to gain some insights into Joyce’s life by talking to her friends and colleagues, and elicts some heartbreaking moments from her interviewees.
