Big Tickle Launched

Some of the world’s funniest people will converge on Derry next month as the hugely popular Big Tickle Comedy Festival returns to the city.

The ninth instalment of this comedy extravaganza has just been launched, with a host of top names and comedy events set to get local audiences giggling. Stand-up shows will feature the likes of Live at the Apollo star Shappi Khorsandi, TV personality Colin Murray, Celebrity Masterchef finalist Hardeep Singh Kohli and rising comedy star Sean Walsh.

Niall McCaughan of the Playhouse welcomed the launch and described the annual Big Tickle Festival as “one of our favourite times of the year”.

“What makes this year’s line-up particularly special is how many much-loved conedians we have on the bill who will be experiencing the fun of the Big Tickle for the first time. Tickets always go fast for the Big Tickle, so book now to make sure you and your friends don’t miss out on any of the fun,” he added.
