Two fantastic family-friendly spooky movies will be shown live on Waterloo Place’s Big Screen as part of Derry’s Banks of the Foyle Hallowe’en Carnival celebrations.

The movies will be screened for free on Monday, October 29, and Tuesday, October 30, at 3pm each day.

The American comedy fanstasy movie ‘Casper’, starring Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci, will be shown on Monday afternoon while ‘Monsters Inc’, the animated comedy film about monsters generating their city’s power by scaring children, will be shown on Tuesday afternoon.

It promises to be a fun way to spend the afternoon and families are encouraged to bring their children in costume and get into the Hallowe’en fever as the city prepares for its annual spooktacular celebrations. A marquee will be set up with children’s activities and there will be heaters and grass set out to enhance the overall experience.
