Derry singer and actor Damian McGinty has denied plans that he is to return to hit American TV series Glee for a Thanksgiving special.

Speaking exclusively to the ‘Derry Journal’ Damian, who won the role of Rory in season three of the phenomenally successful series, said that while he would love to return to McKinley High and take his place among the ‘New Directions’ “nothing was set in stone yet”.

“There are rumours online that I am coming back, but nothing confirmed at all.

“I am working on several other projects at the minute, which are very exciting. Hollywood takes time for things to happen, but fingers crossed with a bit of help from God, and a bit of luck, it’ll work out,” he said.

He has revealed that he will be releasing a single on Itunes on Monday - which he has produced with fellow Glee project contestant Cameron Mitchell.

To read more about what Damian is up to - and his plans to return to Derry in 2013 for City of Culture year.
