General Fiasco play Craft Village this weekend

General Fiasco will headline the fifth annual Smalltown America concerts in the Craft Village this weekend. The acts commence from 1pm in the Craft Village today with more artists, including General Fiasco, playing tomorrow.

Smalltown America Records will host the ‘Pop-Up Store’ in the Craft Village this weekend. The all-dayer will be headlined by the spectacular General Fiasco whose second album, ‘Unfaithfully Yours,’ has been lauded by, among others, Radio 1 as its ‘Hottest Record In The World.’ The all-dayer will take place in a temporary shop located near Cafe Del Mondo in the Craft Village Square. Entrance to the event is entirely free but is limited due to the number the store will hold. The event will also see the premier screening of a documentary on the label. Filmed by local film-maker Aaron Connolly the film charts the highs and lows of the record company. Again this is a free event though early arrival is advised. If that is not enough there is an after-party in Mason’s Bar tomorrow.

Headliners, Fighting With Wire are supported by More Than Conquerors, Negative Pegasus and Our Krypton Son. Tickets are priced at £5 plus booking fee from WeGotTickets or £6 on the door. The full Craft Village line-up for today is from 1pm - 7pm: Crackling Vinyl DJs, Figure Of 8, Ruairi and The Owls, Soak, VerseChorusVerse, Little Bear, Conor Mason and Gascan Ruckus. Tomorrow, also from 1pm - 1am, will see Murder Balladeers, Pretty Child Backfire, The Bonnevilles, Before Machines, Droids, Tropic Of Tantra, General Fiasco, There Is No Real Courage Unless There Is Real Danger, Our Krypton Son, Fighting With Wire, More Than Conquerors and Negative Pegasus take the stage.
