Derry's rockabilly punk cowboys, Here Comes the Landed Gentry will play Masons Bar tonight, May 8.
Stop the press - to make matters even BETTER, it has emerged that Here Comes The Landed Gentry are giving away free stuff too!
Derry's sweaty, bad-ass, rock n' roll band are re-writing all the rules. They have just emerged from the studio, having just banged out eight shiny nuggets of musical bliss in their usual, irresistible analogue live recording style. And instead of charging all their beautiful fans, peers, strange ones and fellow jazz mavericks their hard earned cash - HCTLG will be giving them away free! YES FREE!
From May until Christmas the band will be giving away a Single-a-Month, complete with artwork, lyrics, podcasts, wacky videos of the lads goofing around, Johnny's interesting Fact of the Month, Alternative acoustic versions and so on....
The first single will be 'Lightness and Weight' and will be available as a Free Download from today, May 8, onwards - so as Ol' Blue Eyes once sang "Start Spreading The News..."
