Three Derry acts at Cellar Bar IMRO Showcase

Glasgowbury in association with Smalltown America will proudly present the IMRO Showcase at the Cellar Bar in Draperstown this Saturday night, April 25.

With three of the acts hailing from Derry, this is sure to be an outstanding event featuring Here Comes The Landed Gentry, Furlo, Glenn Rosborough, We Are Resistance and Skruff.

For the first time in its esteemed history, the IMRO Showcase will venture out of the confines of the city to source some rural talent.

Glasgowbury is really excited to be able to secure the IMRO Showcase in its own back yard.

Speaking earlier this week, Paddy Glasgow said: "We're honoured to be able to bring the IMRO showcase to a rural location and to highlight the quality of music that exists outside of the city.

"In association with Smalltown America we have put together a fantastic line-up that showcases artists and bands at the top of their game.

"It's proves the strength of acts in this area and beyond that IMRO have decided to associate themselves with the Glasgowbury G Sessions and Smalltown America to host a leg of their 2009 Showcase tour.

Glasgowbury has continually sourced and represented the best talent from across the country and realise that it's about time rural musicians are given the same respect and opportunities presented to those in the cities," he added.

Don't miss this superb showcase tomorrow night in Draperstown's famed Cellar Bar. Entry is a mere 3 and doors open at 8pm.
