Ryan McBride Foundation get behind Derry Mayor’s ‘Rock the Boat’ world record attempt

Youngsters taking part in this week's Ryan McBride Foundation Easter Camp have backed Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Councillor Patricia Logue's audacious 'Rock the Boat' world record attempt.

The stars of the future took to the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium pitch to form their own Rock the Boat lines ahead of the Mayor's bid to form the planet's longest ever line of the dance on Shipquay Street on Saturday May 4 at 11.30am.

The event is being held to raise funds for the Mayor's chosen charities for her year in office, the Foyle Hospice and the Ryan McBride Foundation.

Galway-based Charity Ability West currently hold the world record attempt involving 1,809 people on Salthill Promenade.
