Celtronic has lined up a very special event which will take place tomorrow in Cultúrlann Uí Chanain in Derry.

The event will feature live performances from electro pioneer ‘Radioactive Man’ and ‘the best live band in Ireland’, ‘Le Galaxie’.

Keith Tenniswood better known as ‘Radioactive Man’ and to most perhaps best known as one half of ‘Two Lone Swordsmen’ with Andrew Weatherall has a sound with a big heart, soul underpinned by electro driven funk. Over the years, he’s put many accolades to his name - credited with co-producing with David Holmes the award winning ‘Lets Get Killed’, being among the first to contribute to Fabric’s acclaimed mix series and for Tenniswood it’s still his Swordsmen era album ‘Tiny Reminders’ that is to this day one of his proudest moments. A resident at Bloc festival, regular performer at Fabric-London as well as international festival and club dates, Keith has always used a full hardware set-up for his live set, which has now been revised with new kit and a whole new set.

If ‘Le Galaxie’ had a euro for every time they’ve been described as ‘the best live band in Ireland’, they’d be lounging on a beach in Malibu and sipping Dom Perignon from a coconut.

Since their debut album, ‘Laserdiscs Nights 2’, ‘Le Galaxie’ have rocked clubs and venues, bars and fields, tents and countries, cities and towns, parties and raves. And in doing so, the band has had a multiplier effect, going from a cult following to a force. Their second album, ‘Le Club’, was released earlier this year to massive critical acclaim.

The band are now primed for global success.
