A number of female Gardai in Inishowen will take part in this year's Flora Women's Mini Marathon in Dublin. The local Gardai will run the marathon on June 2 and will donate their sponsorship money to both the Ard Aoibheann Alzheimer's Unit, Carndonagh and St. Nicholas Special Needs Preschool in Buncrana.

The Blood Transfusion Service at Carndonagh Community School on Wednesday 21st May from 3pm-4.45pm and 7pm-9.30pm. and on Thursday 22nd May at same times.
Some of the top golfers participating in the Irish Seniors Open in Ballyliffen in June have requested to stay in rental accommodation. An estimated 5,000 to 10,000 spectators are expected to travel to Ballyliffen for this big event. Anyone with suitable properties to let are asked to contact Ballyliffen Golf Club on 074 9376119.
