A number of female Gardai in Inishowen will take part in this year's Flora Women's Mini Marathon in Dublin. The local Gardai will run the marathon on June 2 and will donate their sponsorship money to both the Ard Aoibheann Alzheimer's Unit, Carndonagh and St. Nicholas Special Needs Preschool in Buncrana.

Some of the top golfers participating in the Irish Seniors Open in Ballyliffen in June have requested to stay in rental accommodation.
