There will be a Charity 25 Card Drive in Malin GAA Centre tomorrow at 8.30pm. Two rounds at 10euro per round including supper.
All proceeds to Bothair to buy cows, goats and hens for the poor African families. Prizes are Eastwe bumper hampers, Easter eggs and other prizes on the night. Everyone welcome. Donegal County Council, Cultural Service and the Donegal Music Educatio
n Partnership are presenting an exciting new music initiative for primary school children in the peninsula. They are looking for talented young singers to audition for and take part in a new musical. The musical is a youth musical with a special message for all-the care of our environment. If you are a talented young singer between ten and twelve years old, and would like to be part of an excellent production the auditions will take place in Crana College, Buncrana on to-morrow Saturday Feb. 23rd from 11am –1pm.
Inishowen Carnival Group is recruiting again for groups and individuals who would like to join them for their St. Patrick's Day performance in Dublin. Performance workshops will take place between the end of January and early March. For more details email info@inishowencarnival.com
Umbra Collection: Clothing collection of all types of clean clothing, bed linens, curtains, towels, ect. Proceeds can be collected at each of the three church car parks on to-morrow Saturday 23rd from 9am – 12noon. This clothing collection is a very important factor in helping to raise the much needed funds for the educational project in Kenya.
The Good of New Shop in Carndonagh in aid of Breast Screening Services is now closed. A whopping $10,000 was raised and the organisers have sincerely thanked all the women and children who worked in the shop and made the fundraising project a success. Congratulations and a big thank you to everyone.
Pre-marriage courses will be available in the Pastoral Centre, Carndonagh, on the following dates: 22nd/23rd February 2008; 28th/29th March 2008; 25th/26th April 08; 30th/31st May 2008. Courses are from 8pm-10pm on Friday nights and from 10am-5pm on the Saturday. Application forms available from Fr. McGonagle or call the Pastoral Centre on 9374103 between 10.30 am – 12.30 pm.

The Annual Diocesan Mass for those with special needs and their families and friends will take place in St. Joseph's Gallagh, Derry on Saturday 12th April. Bishop Lagan will celebrate the Mass. If you have a child who wishes to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion or Confirmation at the Mass, please contact the Catechetical Centre on 04871264087.
The Carndonagh Feis will take this year on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June. The Feis syllabus will be sent out to all the local schools by mid-march and the closing date for entries will be Friday 2nd May. Could all cups/shields be returned on or by that day to Karen Mc Laughlin, Malin Road, Carndonagh.
