The amount raised in the Charity shop in aid of Nigerian priest Fr. Paul Gokok was 5892.23. The money has been forwarded on to Fr. Paul in Nigeria. The organiser would like to thank everyone who helped in any way, those who helped to set up the shop and clear everything away after, all those who gave their time to work in the shop,all who brought in items for sale and the customers who gave very generously also the people who gave donations of money., to the lady who looked after the key. It is nice to know that this money will go to provide much needed water for people in Nigeria. The winner of Name the Doll was Shakira Bonner Redcastle, the name of the doll was Emily. The Inishowen Gospel Choir is setting up an under 18s youth choir course for 10 weeks. The course will be held in the Inishowen Carnival premises behind Jay Bee's Factory Shop on Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm. The fee is 75euro for ten weeks or 8.50 per week. Talking old times on ICRfm
A new series featuring the stories of Inishowen's most senior citizens on ICRfm.
'Let's Talk Old Times' airs at 10.15am and offers a fascinating insight into the lives of our elderly relatives and friends. Most of those taking part are in their 80s or 90s.
The first five programmes were produced by local woman Claire Cully who came up with the idea for the series. Each show will be repeated in the evening at 8.15pm and also as part of the 'Week in Review' each weekend.
If you know of an elderly neighbour or relative who would like to share their life story with ICRfm listeners, contact Trudy on 93 29105 to find out how they can take part.
Parents and Toddlers can now meet up at Playdays Playgroup in Middletown, every Wednesday from 10am to 12 noon. Why not come along and meet other like-minded parents.

Inishowen Disability Action Group and the Irish Wheelchair Association are urgently looking for volunteers to help out at Milltown House, Carndonagh, for a few hours on Mondays. You do not need to be a swimmer - just willing and able. Volunteers are also needed to act as bus assistants. Training will be provided.
