Service of Remembrance will take place for all men from the Glengad area who were drowned at sea on Sunday next 22nd June at Portaleen pier Glengad. Unveiling of a plaque will take place at 3pm and afterwards there will be light refreshments in the Community Centre. Everyone welcome.

The beautiful wedding took place
in the star of the Sea Church, Malin Head of Clare Gallagher, daughter of Rose and Seamus Gallagher of Loughbraghey, Malin Head and John Harkin, son of John and Betty Harkin of Termon, Letterkenny on Satruday, 7th June.
The stunning bride who was given away by her father was attended by her sisters Andrea Gallagher and Julieanne Devlin. Her pretty flowergirl was the groom's niece Emer Tuohy.
The bestmen were Enda Boyle and Hugh Harkin with pageboy being the grooms nephew Oisín Harkin.
There was an enjoyable garden reception at the Gallagher famiy Home prior to the main reception of the Malin Hotel. The couple are currently enjoying their honeymoon in Mauritus and Dubai.
A fundraising prize draw with proceeds going to Duchenne Ireland Muscular Dystrophy Reserch will take at a dance in the Malin Hotel on Friday July 25th. The annual Malin Raft Race will take place on Sunday, August 3 at Lagg. The assembly time for all those strange and wonderful vessels will be 4pm. Entries will be taken on the day and all entrants must wear a life-jacket or buoyancy aid. Please come along and support the Lifeboats. He committee would like to appeal for more help on the day. The annual Blessing of the Graves will take place in St. Patrick's Church, Aughaclay on Sunday 3rd August and St. Mary's Church, Lagg on Sunday 10th August. Ceremonies start at 3pm.
