Moville Community Complex Development Co. Ltd Annual General meeting will be held in St Eugene's Hall on Wednesday 13th February at 8.30pm.
As St Eugene's Hall is now being used for a wide range of activities it is important that as many people attend this meeting as possible to ensure future development is in line with people's wishes. Seeing that we have generously been donated the us
e of a projector by Fr P O'Kane PP, it is hoped we can establish a regular Movie night (particularly aimed at the post primary age group) but this can only proceed if more volunteers come forward at the AGM.
The Women's Bible study will be held in Serenity House on Monday 11th February at 10.30am. All women are very welcome.
Grow is hosting a Mental Health Information night for young adults in the Youth club, Buncrana on 7th February at 7.30pm. Guest speaker is Paul Clabby, organiser of the Young Adults Group in Galway. They are hoping to develop a similar group here in Inishowen in view of the suicide, depression and drugs statistics in the North West. Serenity House Active Retirement Association are organising a five day trip to Wexford on 25 May. For further information contact Serenity House on 9382945. Seats will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis, so book early to avoid disappointment. Also a bus is being organised to the Highland Birthday Bash which will be held in March tickets can now be collected for the Birthday Bash At Serenity House.
Murder Mystery night in the Ballyliffen Gold Club on Friday 15 February at 7.30pm sharp. Full evening entertainment with a champagne reception and a three course dinner. (40 euro per person). Book early by phoning 9378111 to avoid disappointment.
Parenting Course: Drugs and Alcohol 5 week course for parents of children in national/primary schools. Learn about how to help your children prepare to deal with pressures around alcohol and drugs. The course will be held on Wednesday nights at 8pm in the Moville Day Centre starting Wednesday 13 February. To book a place contact Mary McKinney on 074 9385548.
The Book Club will meet in Serenity House on Tuesday 12th February at 7.30pm. The book for this month is "The Gathering" by Anne Enright. All are welcome.
Names are being taken for a class "Coping with depression and anxiety management which is due to commence in Serenity House, Moville. For further information contact Serenity House on 9382945.
Children's Morning takes place in The Cairn, Greencastle, every Saturday from 11am to 1pm with music, drama, quiz and games. Guitar classes and young teens drama starting soon. Telephone 9381104 for more information.
