Carn Community School reunion this Sunday

Did you start Carndonagh Community School in 1993? Did you sit the Leaving Certificate in 1998? If so, there is a 10 year reunion planned for Sunday 4th May in the Ballyliffen Hotel. Tickets are 25 euro for dinner, band and disco and are on sale in Valu-Clean (Buncrana, Carndonagh and Moville) and Norris Shop, Moville. Tickets should be purchased by 27 April. All proceeds to charity.

Chiropodist Deirdre Britton will be in attendance at Serenity House on Friday 30th May at 9.30am Appointments only. If you wish to make an appointment to attend the chiropodist contact 0860666538 or 074 9360363.
Culdaff 5K One-Mile Road Races. Ini
showen Athletic Club will stage the 5K and 1 Mile Races on Friday 9 May. Juvenile one mile begins at 7.30pm, walkers start at 7.30pm and runners start at 7.45pm. All races start and finish at Culdaff Post Office. Prizes in Senior Male/Female and Masters categories. Age groups for one mile are Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17. Prize for first three boys and girls in all age groups. Goody bag for all finishers. Contact 086 3426698 for more details. Entry fee 8 euro for the 5K and 5 euro for one mile.
A sponsored walk is being organised in aid of St Luke's Hospital, Dublin and the Day Care Unit of the Oncology Ward in Letterkenny General Hospital. The walk will take place from Culdaff to Malin via McSheffrey's Bridge on the 18 May at 2pm. All welcome to take part. For sponsor cards ring 074 9379166.
The Book Club will meet in Serenity House on Tuesday 13 May at 7.30pm. The book for this month is "This Distant Land of my Father" by Bo Caldwell. All are welcome.
The Job Club Centre, Inishowen Partnership, are starting a new programme in Moville.  We welcome all those who are currently looking for a job to contact us.  We can provide you with the services and support you will need in order to help you secure the right job.  For an information leaflet or for more details please call Aisling/Noreen on (074) 9361376.  Be sure to book your place early to avoid disappointment.
At the Serenity House Active Retirement meeting which took place on Wednesday 23rd April, a very informative talk was given by Mr Billy Hazlette, Fire Officer with the HSE West followed by a question and answer session. This exercise was so popular that Billy Hazlette has agreed to give a further lecture in the near further.
Serenity House, Moville are organising a day trip to Belfast on 19th June 08. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. For further information contact Serenity House on 9382945.
Moville activities for men. There will be no meeting on bank holiday Monday. Next meeting will be on Friday 9th at 7.30pm in Moville Day Centre. Talk about Poland. All men welcome. Fathers and sons course. There are a few places still available for fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers of boys. Tuesday, 7.30pm at Moville Day centre.
