St Joseph's Oratory, Shrove was the setting chosen by Mr Will Heynes and Geraldine McDonald for their wedding.
Will is the son of Mr Jeremy and Mrs Sue Heynes, Leamington Spa, England. Geraldine is the daughter of Mr Jim and Mrs Marian McDonald, Ardfoyle, Moville. Geraldine who was given away by her father was attended by her best friend Mrs Kaye Skelly as M
atron of Honour. The flower girls were the bride's nieces Misses Caoimhe, Aishleen, Carraigh and Bronagh McGuinness. The best man was the groom's best friend Dr Ben Heaton and the page boy and ring bearer was the bride's nephew Master Kelvin McDonald. Fr Paddy O'Kane PP, Moville celebrated Nuptial Mass. The readers were Mrs Kim Banks, friend of the bride and the groom's sister Miss Vick Heynes. The prayers of the Faithful were read by Mrs Siobhan McDonald, sister in law of the bride, Mrs Aoife O'Hare, cousin of the bride, Mr George Heynes, brother of the groom and Mr Matt Thomas, friend of the groom.
The music in the Church was by the bride's friend Mrs Derbhaile Gould soloist accompanied by Mr George McCormick, friend of the couple. The gifts were taken to the altar by the bride and groom's parents Sue and Marian. After the ceremony, two love doves were released. The reception was held in the Waterfront, Moville after a delicious meal enjoyed by all the guests who travelled from America, Germany, Spain, England and all over Ireland, were entertained by Cavanagh Brothers. Geraldine wore an ivory pure silk two piece dress Rambo style. While Kaye word a black and ivory two price A line bodice top with matching bolero. The flower girls wore aquamarine short princess style dresses. The happy couple are honeymooning in New York and Nice and will reside in London.

Culdaff 5K One-Mile Road Races. Inishowen Athletic Club will stage the 5K and 1 Mile Races on Friday 9 May. Juvenile one mile begins at 7.30pm, walkers start at 7.30pm and runners start at 7.45pm. All races start and finish at Culdaff Post Office. Prizes in Senior Male/Female and Masters categories. Age groups for one mile are Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17.
