Congratulations is extended to 34 children and 6 leaders who were enrolled in the Brigini and Cygnets by Bridget McCallion, Area Commissioner, enrolment took place at mass celebrated by Fr. John Farren, in the Sacred heart Church, Muff, last Wednesday, and afterwards refreshments were served in St. Mary's Community Hall by parents and children.
The Unit would like to thank everyone who helped in any way with this event.
The G.A.A. Centre, Ture is the venue for an Old Tyme and Ceili dance to take place this Sunday, 18th May with dancing form 9-11.30p.m. Admission 5 euro including supper.

The 1st anniversary of the 'John Lynch Perpetual Shield' sponsored Cycle will take place on Friday, 6th June from the Ture Inn to Rawdons Bar, Moville. The cycle will start at 6.30p.m. sharp, please note over 15s only can take part in the cycle. Proceeds going to Donegal and Foyle Hospice. Culmore Forum, Quigleys Point Community Centre, Muff Community Development and Redcastle Community Development invite the residents of this 'Foyle West' area to a community planning exercise to be held tomorrow from 9.30am to 2pm in Muff Community Hall. Lunch will be provided.
The community planning activity is based on a semi-fictional area called Ballyglas. This town is undergoing a council planning review, a by pass is proposed, meanwhile local residents would like better facilities and a playground. In addition other development interests are also creating pressures.
Various interest groups will be represented at the session and you will have an opportunity to contribute and plan for the future development of the area. Come along and see what influence you can have!
