Club disappointed by wanton vandalism

The local GAA Club is very disappointed with a recent spate of vandalism at the school pitch which resulted in windows and roof tiles being broken, also some damage was done to the Astro-Turf pitch.
Any information about the identity of the culprits would be welcome. The Club is run by volunteers who give their time for the betterment of the community, therefore this type of activity is very annoying. Give up the culprits.
The numbers drawn in
this week's Quigley's Point Swifts Mini Lotto wee 4:8:9:12:13 and 15. Ultan Doherty, Aught, Ture matched five numbers and wins 60 euro. Next week's jackpot will be 1310 euro and the draw is on Tuesday night as usual. The fun Football commences on Saturday on the Astro-Turf with registration at 12 noon. Players aged from 5 years to 12 years, boys and girls very welcome. The presentation dinner is in Food's Lodge on Friday, 16th November. Tickets priced 20 euro each with under 14 priced at 10 euro to be accompanied by an adult. Tickets available from any Committee member.
Naomh Padraig GAA:The numbers drawn in this week's lotto draw were 7:5:4:3:6:2 and 1. There was no jackpot winner however two runner-up prizes of 50 euro went to Mick Faulkner, Quigleys Point and Kevin grant, Quigley's Point. Next weeks jackpot will now stand at 4,900 euro. The Club would like to thank everyone who attended and assisted with the underage disco at the weekend. The large crowd enjoyed a good nights craic.
The Parish League continued on Sunday and Club merchandise (hoodies, tracksuits etc) will be on sale during and after the training. There will be indoor hurling training starting on Saturday 10th November at the Quigley's Point Community Centre at 10.30 a.m. This is open to boys and girls aged between 6 and 10. Finally the underage presentation will now be on the 2nd December and the night of the races on the 7th December.
There was no outright winner in the GAA Club Lotto on Monday week last. The winning numbers were 5:7:4:3:1:2 and 6. The nearest were Ciara McLaughlin, Aught; Darren Curran, Muff and Caroline Doherty c/o The Rock Bar. Next week's jackpot will be 4,850 euro.
The Parish League is enjoying great weather and continues on Sunday from 12.30-2 p.m. The Club will have their annual night at the races on Friday, 7th December, in the Squealin Pig, Muff. Horses are on sale from all senior players and committee members.
All types of clean and dry clothing, bed line, curtains, towels and shoes will be collected at St. Mary's Community hall, Muff today Friday, 2nd November before 12 noon. collection is on a commercial basis and suspects education in Mitui, Africa.
Names and PPS numbers of those who would like to join the FAS Scheme can be given to Fr. Farren, Fr. Mailey or Charles McCauley (Tel 9383232.
The annual Church Gate collection in aid of Scoil Mhuire, Buncrana will take place on Saturday, 3rd and Sunday 4th November.
A mind, body and soul day will be held in the Tir-na-Moe", Cortcormacan, Muff on Saturday 10th November. The theme of the day will be "finding your key to change", it will be an opportunity to explore a new way of living lift to the full. The day will begin at 10.30 a.m. and finish at 4.30 p.m. Price 20 or 27 euro for further information and to book ring 074-9384015. "What kind of life would you like to live".

The Rock Bar is the place to be tonight when the named charities and community groups who have financial benefited from activities under the auspices of the Muff Festival, will be presented with their cheques. Live music by Dallas with guest entertainment and dancing. Monies raised on the night will go to the Donegal Hospice. Do come along you are assured of a good nights music and fun.
Winners in this week's Parish draw were: Katie Grant, Gortanny, 300 euro, Denise Henry, Ballyboe 200 euro and Orla McClean, Knowhead 75 euro.
Community bingo every Saturday night in St. Mary's community Hall. Your continued support is appreciated.
With assistance from Muff Festival we are hoping to have a small festival in the village this year. If you have any ideas or would like to join the organising committee please contact Emma at 0862106201. Meetings will be at a minimum and for a short time period only.
The monthly meeting of the Muff branch of the Apostolic Workers will be held on Tuesday, 6th November, in the Conference Room at 8 p.m. New members welcome.
