The death took place recently after a very short illness of James Joseph McCallion, Birmingham, England. James was the son of the late Hugh and Grace McCallion, Aught Road, Ture.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen, his daughters Grace, Patricia, Pauline and Lisa, his sons James, Martin and Shaun, his brothers Michael, John, Hugh, Liam and Gerard, also by his sisters Eileen and Cassie. He was predeceased by his brothers Patri
ck and Danny. Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of St. Francis, Birmingham and burial took place in the nearby cemetery. James was a frequent visitor to Ture to visit his relations and friends. He was very well known in the area and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

St. Mary's Community Hall committee would like to thank the Muff Ceili Club for their generous contribution of 170 euro, the proceeds of a Ceili Mor held in the hall on Friday night last. Due to the inclement weather some of the usual patrons were unable to attend.

Muff Junior Youth Club will not be on tomorrow or Saturday 16th but will resume as usual on Saturday 23rd.

Senior training commences this week and takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.15 p.m. Ladies' training continues on Saturdays and Wednesdays while u-12s takes place on Sunday mornings.
