There was a jubilant mood among the community members of the Muff Sheltered Housing Associaiton when it was learned that the grand amount of 4.5 million euro has been awarded to the sheltered housing scheme. Well done and congratulations to the hard working committee who have been involved in this project for the past five years. Patsy Walsh one of the Board members thanked everyone who helped to bring about this wonderful and much needed facility. As well as having thirty one accommodation units there will be associated communal facilities. This is a cross border venture and will be a great boost for the elderly in the area. Without the generosity of local farmer Jack Dinsmore who owned the site, the project would have been more difficult to progress.
