Muff Co-op looks to fill vacancies

Muff Community Development Co-op is seeking staff for the Community Services Programme.
The following part-time/flexible vacancies are available in Muff and Quigley's Point Community Centres - Finanaial Administrator - Muff; Community Services Assistant - Muff and Caretaker/Maintenance Workers - Muff and Quigley's Point. A;;olicants mus

Community bingo continues every Saturday in St. Mary's Community Hall at 9.15 p.m.
Winners in this week's Parish Draw were Paul Lynch, Kilderry, 300 euro, Nuala Lafferty, Carnamoyle, 200 euro and Annie Diver, Ardmore, 100 euro.
Friday, 7th December will see the annual sale in Knowhead Church Hall. It will start at 7.30 p.m. and there will be the usual items, cakes, home made and home grown produce, Christmas gifts, etc. Teas and jellies will be available. Everyone welcome.
Inishowen Romanian Fund Annual Auction will be held at Mary Deeney's, Ture, Muff on Saturday, 1st December at 9 p.m. Anyone wishing to donate unwanted items such as furniture, kitchen appliances, home baking, etc. contact Mickey, 087 2121789 or Marty, 087 2681302. These items can be collected throughout Inishowen and Derry. Once again a big thank you to everyone for their generosity throughout the yeras and a very Happy Christmas to everyone from all the Inishowen Romanian Fund committee.
A marriage Preparation Workshop will take place tonight and tomorrow in the Thornhill Centre from 7 - 10 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Booking forms from the Pastoral Centre, 161, Bishop Street, Derry, telephone 04871 362475.
Numbers drawn in this week's Quigley's Point lotto were 2, 5, 7, 12, 13 and 14 - there was no jackpot winner and 2 people matched 5 numbers and share 60 euro - Alice Porter, Ture and Fionnuala McColgan, Ture. Next week's jackpot will be 1,400 euro.
A very successful dinner presentation was held at Foody's Lodge on Friday night and the committee would like to congratulate the following players, Amy Diver, Fun footballer of the Year, Ultan Doherty, u-10 Player of the Year, Darran McColgan, u-10 Manager's Player of the Year, Caolan mailey, Goalkeeper award, Odran McColgan, u-12 Top Goal scorer and u-14 Player of the Year, Christie curran, u-14 Top Goal scorer, Darragh Magee, u-12 Player of the Year, u-16 team on winning the League, Hugo Curran and Adam Harkin u-16 joint Players of the Year, Dean Hegarty and Lee Mullan, u-16 joint Top Goal scorers, Denise Donaghey, u-16 Player of the Year, Kathleen O'Donnell, u-16 Top Goal scorer, Niall McColgan, u-18 Player of the Year, Seanan McColgan, u-18 Top Goal scorer, Maria McColgan, Manager's Player of the Year (Inishowen Ladies), Sarah mcGoldrick, Player of the Year (Inishowen Ladies), Trevor Gallagher, Manager's Player of the Year (Inishowen League), Anthony McColgan, Ulster Senior League Player of the Year, Clara Moyne, recipient of the McGonigle Family outstanding Youth Award and to Brian McIvor, Club Person of the Year. Medals were presented to the u-10 team who finished 3rd in the Blitz throughout Inishowen. Special thanks went to all the parents and guardians for all their help and support throughout the year especially at the underage games. Fun football will continue on Saturdays at the all weather pitch between 10 - 1 p.m. for the 5-12 year olds (male and female). all welcome. On Sunday the Inishowen Premier team are away to Rathmullan to take part in the Ulster Junior Cup, kick off 1.30 p.m. all players are asked to assemble in Muff for 11.30 a.m. and the Inishowen Reserve team are away to Moville, kick off 11 a.m. Good luck to both teams.
The numbers drawn in this week's Naomh Padraig GAA lotto draw were 3, 6, 2, 7, 4, 5, 1 - no jackpot winner. The 100 euro runners-up prize went to John McDaid, Quigley's Point Post Office. Next week's jackpot will be 5,050 euro.
The club's Parish League ended last Sunday and the club would like to thank everyone who assisted or helped in any way throughout.
The indoor hurling continues on Satudays in the Community Centre at 10.30 a.m. for boys and girls aged 6-10 years.
The underage presentation will take place in the Clubhouse on Friday 2nd December. There will be a 'Night at the Races' the following Friday in the Squealin' Pig and a Bazaar in the Clubhouse on Sunday, 9th December. Hopefully these events can be well supported. Finall there will be a table quiz in the Ture Inn on Friday, 30th at 10.30 p.m. As usual all proceeds are going toward the defibulator fund.
