There was sadness in the community when it was learned of the passing of Bridget Lynch. In her 96th year she was one of the oldest residents in the area. Bridget was predeceased by her husband Joseph 19 years ago, she is survived by her family Teresa, Bregeen, Myra, Ruby, John, Patrick and Ann and her only surviving sister Mary Harte. Requiem Mass was concelebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Iskaheen by Fr. John Farren and Fr. Eddie McColgan.
The gifts were brought up by her grandsons, Gerard Lynch and Gerard Droomgole, her grand daughter Geraldine Boyle and her great grandson Shane Boyle. The lessons were read by her grandsons Joseph Droomgole, John Murray and Eamon O'Neill, her grand d
aughters Lynch McLaughlin and Orla Lynch and the music in the church was supplied by The Brogan family. Bridget was a very well known and respected member of the community, she will be sadly missed by her family and friends. May she rest in peace.

The wedding took place in the Sacred Heart Church, Strabane of Kevin McLaughlin, son of Peter and Patsy McLaughlin, Muff and Olivia Parker daughter of Seamus and Anne Parker, Ballyamagorry, Strabane. The bride was attended by her sisters Orla and Stacey Parker, her aunt Bernie McDevitt and her niece Samara Parker. The bestman was Peter McLaughlin, brother of the groom and the groomsmen were Jim and Patrick McLaughlin brothers of the groom and Peter Mclaughlin nephew of the groom. Nuptial Mass was concelebrated by Fr. John Doherty PP Leckpatrick and Fr. Eugene Boland PP Killyclogher. The reception was held in Jackson's Hotel, Ballybofey and the honeymoon was spent in Mexico and New York.

The mayoral campaign raise and donated as follows: Neill Toye: Niamh Padraig Building Fund GAA 17000 euro; ICARE Buncrana 5000 euro and Muff Festival Charities 2,600 euro.
Patsy Walsh: Muff Sheltered Housing Association Ltd. 14,600 euro; Muff Festival Charities 1,460 euro. Neil Toye was duly elected Mayor.
The back to back competition donations were: From Squealin Pig Tea 500 to Donegal Hospical. From Packie Doherty and Joe Hegarty Rock Team 400 to motor neurons.
Presentations to the above charities will be made at a grand charity night in the Rock Bar on Friday 2nd November. Monies raised on the night will go to the Donegal Hospice. Live music with guest entertainment and dancing. The Festival Committee would like to thank most sincerely those who gave so generously of their time and contributed in anyway to a hugely successful festival.
Yoga classes for beginners will commence in St. Mary's Community Hall on Tuesday 6th November, from 7 p.m. to 8.15 p.m. This is a six week course, the facilitator is Mary Dugan and the cost 45 euro. If interested call Mary on 9382515 or just come along on the night.

A big thank you to all who contributed to last weekend's church gate collection for the Friends of Letterkenny Hospital the amount raised was 640 euro 84c and £64.44. Next week's church gate collection will be taken up for self help development international in support of their work among rural communities in Africa.
The winners in this week's Parish Draw were Kyle and Reece O'Donnell, Craig Park, 300 euro, Liam Barron, Glengad 200 euro and Noleen Hegarty, Sappagh 100 euro.
Michael and Cathy McCarron Ardmore, Muff would like to thank everyone who sponsored them or helped with fundraising for their Great Wall of China Trek in aid of Children in Crossfire. The amount raised was 11,755 euro. Well done.
There was no outright winner in the GAA Club Lotto on Monday. The winning numbers were 5:7:4:3:1:2 and 6. The nearest were Ciara McLaughlin, Aught; Darren Curran, Muff and Caroline Doherty c/o The Rock Bar. Next week's jackpot will be 4,850 euro.
A fancy dress party for boys and girls up to 14 years will be held in the Club House this Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Parents are also asked to come along. There will be prizes for the best dressed boy and girl.
The Parish League is enjoying great weather and continues this Sunday from 12.30-2 p.m.
The Club will have their annual night at the races on Friday 7th December, in the Squealin Pig in Muff. Horses are on sale from all senior players and committee members.
Quigleys Point Swifts Mini-Lotto were 2:3:6:11:13 and 15. There was no jackpot winner.
Eamonn McColgan, Croft House, Iskaheen matched 5 numbers and won 60 euro.
Next week's jackpot will be 1,280 euro and the draw will be held on Tuesday. Dinner dance tickets are now available from the Committee priced at 20 euro each for Foody's Lodge on Friday 16th November.
