A substantial investment of 1.69 million euro has been granted to Moville Community College.
The news was announced today at the school by principal Anthony Doogan and Moville-based County Councillor Martin Farren.
The investment will allow the secondary school to construct phase one of a planned three phase extension.
Phase one will incorporate five general classrooms, one science laboratory, one home economics room, one technology room, one learning support room and ancillary works to include toilets, stairs, lift and electrical works.
The new extension will be 1,032 square metres.
Speaking today, Principal Doogan thanked parents and Colr. Farren for their hard work in obtaining the investment, along with the Donegal Education and Training Board (ETB).
The investment will be obtained by the ETB by way of a devolved grant.
