There will be a Bumper Table Quiz in the Arch Inn, Carndonagh tonight in aid of the Colgan Heritage Magazine. Prizes galore spot prizes and a raffle. Starting time at 10pm.

Bocan Players will present a play in the Colgan Hall this Sunday in aid of Milltown House, starting at 8pm.

Month’s Mind mass will be celebrated on Friday, 6th March at 7pm in the Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for Charlie Porter, Collon.

Occupational First Aid Refresher QQI (Fetec Level 5) will take place in Carndonagh on Saturday 14th March. For further details contact Holigra Safety Training on 087 232 6165.

The Donegal Branch of Special Olympics would like to thank all those who collected and contributed to the recent Church Gate Collection. A total of €557 was collected. Your continued support is very much appreciated.

As part of the Fairtrade Fortnight activates Moville and Greencastle Fairtrade Town Committee is holding a family event in Moville from 11am – 1.30pm, to raise awareness of the importance of buying Fairtrade and shopping locally. Quiz questions can be collected from the Farm Shop on Malin Road. There will be a children’s quiz with a prize and free samples of Fairtrade products available. Come along and join in the fun.

Inishowen Methodist Church will open a good as new in Margaret Theresa Doherty’s premises on Monday 2nd March. Shop will open daily Monday to Saturdy 10am-5pm. All donations of clean clothing and bric a brac welcome.

The Bethany Bereavement Support Group Carndonagh is running a series of five talks on coping with loss. The talks will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm in the Parish Office beside the Church. Admission is free but places are limited. Call Gerry on 087 240 7507 to book a place or contact any member of the Bethany Bereavement Support Group.

Carndonagh Community School will be holding a fundraising Ceili in the Colgan Hall on Friday, 6th March from 9pm to midnight. Music by Martin Doogan and admission is €5 with supper included.

Carndonagh Easter Parade will take place on Monday 6th April at 3pm and everyone is invited to get involved.

Carn Men’s Sheds are now open to new members (only €10 p.a). New courses this year include basket weaving and basic woodworking skills. Come along and learn or share your knowledge- contact 086 109 7455 or Facebook or just drop in Tuesday s 10am-4pm and 7.30-10pm. Wednesdays 10am-4pm and Thursdays 10am-1pm and Fridays 7-10pm.

Rhyme Time in Carndonagh Community Library every Wednesday morning with singing and storytelling from 11am-12noon. This event is free and is aimed at pre-school children and their parents/guardians.
