The charge relates to a defibrillator that was damaged in Church Meadow during the early hours of August 21.

The defibrillator belonged to a local shop. The shop shared CCTV footage of the incident on Facebook.

The piece of life saving equipment was purchased by the local shop with donations from the local community.

The footage caused widespread disgust in Derry and throughout the rest of the North.
