2nd annual Inish Tractor Run

The second Inish Tractor Run will place on Saturday August 1st starting at Banba’s Crown travelling thorugh Inishowen and finishing up back in the north of the peninsula in Malin Town. The tractor run will begin at 11am and following the run their will be a barbecue, pig on the spit and live music by Liam Mc Dermott and guests at McClean’s Bar. Climb Sliabh Sneacht: Malin branch of St. Vincent De-Paul will hold their annual Climb of Sliabh Sneacht this Sunday, 22nd July (new A Fun Quiz will be held in Farren Bar, Malin Head every Wednesday night in aid of local charities.

Malin Presbyterian Church is hosting afternoon teas each Saturday in July and August in its Church Hall in Lagg from 2.30pm – 5pm. Everyone is welcome. Come along and enjoy the tea and home baked goodies.

Paddy J McLaughlin will be launching his CD ‘Life is A River’ tonight in The Corner Bar, Moville from 10pm. All proceeds raised from the sale of the CD are in aid of the Cancer Care Bus. The CD is also available to purchase in many shops around Inishowen”

Carndonagh Community School Office will re-open on Monday 10th August, The bookshop will be open Friday 14th August from 9.30am until 4pm and Saturday 15th August from 9.30am to 1pm. Details on school opening are on the school website.

Blessing of the Graves will take place in Malin Parish on Sunday 16th August at 3pm in Aughaclay and 5 pm in Lagg.

There will be a fundraising dance in aid of the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny Hospital in the Malin Hotel on Sunday July 25th. Dancing is from 10pm to 1am. Music is by local Musicians. Tickets are 10euro and door prize is 100euro. This is organised by Josie Mc Laughlin and Family. Please support this worthy cause.
