Thirty workers at an Inishowen call centre have been told they are to lose their jobs.
Last night Administrators KPMG told the affected staff at the Lisfannon based Assetco their jobs have gone
It is understood the workers have also been told they will not receive any redundancy payments.
Assetco Ireland is a part of Assetco London. The companies had supplied support services to the London Fire Brigade but it has failed to renew its contract with the company.
Sinn Fein councillor Jack Murray, said the workers have been “treated disgracefully.”
“The workforce is devastated, they didn’t see this coming at all.
“Negotiations are going on to try and secure some sort of redundancy package and at least they get their wages for November.
“At the moment it is unclear what they are going to get.”
