50 new jobs at Ebrington ‘Creative Hub

Ilex has this morning announced the appointment of Blick Studios as operator of the Creative Hub at buildings 80 and 81 at Ebrington, in a move which its said will create 50 new jobs at the space.

Blick Studios will manage the Creative Hub, securing tenants from a variety of creative disciplines, including design related industries, expressive industries, and media and information industries.

Announcing the appointment of the Creative Hub operator, Ilex’s Chair, Philip Flynn said: “This is a key development in the ongoing regeneration of Ebrington. Blick will manage and operate the Creative Hub, seek tenants, attract inward investment through their strong connections with creative businesses, and ultimately, help achieve 50 jobs for the hub.”

Christine James, Managing Director of Blick Studios added: “We are excited to expand our services to Derry and work with the local creative community and businesses to build a thriving and vibrant creative hub in the beautiful setting of Ebrington”.

Blick is now ready to engage with creative businesses who wish to expand and develop from Ebrington.
