Plans are well under way for this years’ St. Patrick’s weekend. There will be a concert from local schools including music, song and dance. Traditional music will be to the fore on the eve of the big day with a session in the Trawlerman Bar. All local traditional musicians and those from further afield are welcome. Several marching bands will be there for the parade. We are appealing to all local clubs, teams, organisations and businesses to think seriously about putting in a float this year as we enjoy a long holiday weekend. As our parade is totally dependent on local support we are asking for your help by taking part in the ticket draw which will be launched shortly. Ní neart go cur le chéile.’
