Aileach Football Club is hosting a Grand Variety Night, In the Half-Way House, Tooban, next Friday, October 17. Doors open at 8.30pm, with curtain up at 9pm. There will be a host of talented local artists taking to the stage on the night, as well as a hilarious comedy sketch, written by Fahan’s own Maureen Boyle. She said: “The sketch is called ‘You Only Live Once’ and will be performed by The Aileach Players. This is my third comic sketch and I couldn’t get anyone to play the nosey neighbour, so I’ve had to do it myself! We are looking forward to a great night!” Admission 5 euro for adults and 3 euro for children.
A Harvest Thanksgiving Service will be held in Fahan Presbyterian Church this Sunday at 7.30pm, followed by a Harvest Supper in the church hall. Neighbours and friends are very welcome as we give thanks for a bountiful harvest.We welcome into the Christian community Luke McCay Doherty, Moress, Inch Island.
