A Derry woman who stopped traffic on Bishop Street on Thursday morning is to take her campaign back to the streets again on Monday.

Angela Jackson will continue her campaign against a proposed unit for people with long term alcohol problems at the former Nazareth House home.

Tomorrow at 3.15 p.m she will be at the traffic lights at the junction of the Flyover, Abercorn Road and Bishop Street.

And she has invited any local people who want to come out and join her to do so.

“I want to do this at 3.15 p.m. because it will be the time the children from the schools are on the street,” said Angela.

She said the action will be a number of protests which will be taken over the course of the next weeks.
