Appeal after cyclist knocked off his bike in Limavady

Police in Limavady are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was knocked off his bike.

Police say the incident occurred on Saturday, October 22, at approximately 9.20am in the area of Hospital Lane, Limavady.

The cyclist is understood to have hurt his hand.

“A cyclist was knocked off his bike,” said a spokesperson.

“The vehicle involved in this incident has been described as a red Ford Fiesta.

“The driver failed to stop and drove back up Hospital Lane towards Irish Green Street.

“If you have any information please contact police at Limavady on 101. Reference number is 1009 22/10/16.”
