Fundraising table quiz for Cancer research in the Arch Inn tonight beginning at 9.30pm sharp. All the proceeds to the Manchester Children’s Hospital where 2 year old Aoife Wood (granddaughter of Denis McLaughlin (Manny) Trenatubber Culdaff has been having treatment. Denis and a friend are also walking Hadrian’s Wall in Northern England to help raise funds for this cause.

The Donagh Choir and friends will present a Summer concert in the Church of the Scared Heart, Carndonagh on Sunday 7th June at 7.30pm. Admission is free, retiring collection for Letterkenny Coronary Care.

The Pat Owen Memorial Cup will host an over 30s soccer match in Barr’s Field, Glengad on Saturday 30th May in aid of the Carndonagh Hospital. Michael Davey Select Vs Paddy McGuinness Select.

Carndonagh Tidy Towns will have a weekly clean up every Wednesday at 6.30pm. Meet at the Diamond, wear gloves and high viz vest and bring gardening equipment if possible. Please help for just a hour. Volunteers needed.

Cycling for beginners, cyclists leaving Council offices every Tuesday evening at 7pm. Contact Seamus The Mason for more information.

Blue Box follows the Wild Atlantic way leaving Moville on Friday 5th June and arriving in Carndonagh at the Bank of Ireland at 1.30pm. Carnival day with Highland Radio outside broadcast with Garry Gamble and friends 1.30-3.30pm. Free coffee, ice cream and entertainment- face painting, magician, clowns, draws, bucket collection. Bank of Ireland has secured a national permit for this fundraiser and have selected the St Vincent de Paul as their charity. All monies collected in Carndonagh on 5th June will go to support the local branch. The Blue Box will then travel the Wild Atlantic Way to Clifton.

There is a plant sale on Saturday 6th June from 12-2pm, hosted by Inishowen Gardening Club. All welcome.

Off the Rails is now open beside the Butterbean Restaurant. Lots of bargains including shower doors, inside double doors etc. New stock arriving daily from as far away as Cork, Dublin, Mayo and Galway. Meals for 2 up for grabs in our raffle. Come and have a look for yourself. All proceeds going towards Malin Head Community Hall. It will remain open until the 6th June. All donations welcome including furniture.

There will be a plant sale in aid of Meningitis Research foundation, hosted by Kathleen Doherty of Annaugh Clonmany at her home on tomorrow from 12-5pm. On sale will be a wide selection of shrubs, flowers, herbs and vegetables. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. There will be complimentary tea/coffee and home made scones.
