Arrests and two men injured after altercation in Ballykelly

Police are appealing for information following an altercation between two men that occurred in the Hill Close area of Ballykelly on the evening of Thursday 6 October.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “At approximately 6pm police received a report that two men, aged 52 and 51, had been involved in some sort of disturbance. One of the men is believed to have been in a car at the time. Both of the men received injuries as a result with the 51-year-old man requiring hospital treatment.”

Sergeant Madden said: “Both men have been arrested and bailed in connection with this, but I would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about the incident.

“Please contact Limavady Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1055 of 06/10/16.”
