This is a special charity event being held at Sandinos Bar on Thursday, March 29, 2012 to raise money for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Altnagelvin Hospital.
The night is being held in tribute to Patrick Lynch who passed away suddenly on October 22, 2011, aged 27 years old.
Patrick’s passion in life was his love of music, not only was he a well-known and respected barman at Sandinos Bar but he also worked as a music promoter.
‘Atrocity Exhibition’ was the name of Paddy’s promotion company so this charity event, organised by his friends and family is about supporting local musical talent as well as coming together to celebrate Paddy’s life and love of music .
Lisa Brown, Paddy’s girlfriend said: “We just wanted to acknowledge the amazing work that the ICU did for Paddy so there was really no other way that could encompass Paddy’s love of music while raising money for a worthwhile cause. “
On the ‘Live & Loud’ stage acts include La Faro, Libido Switch and Little Bear, while the ‘Unplugged’ stage is home to Balkan Alien Sound, Ard Ri Band, David Lyttle and John Leighton.
There will be a raffle on the night with a variety of different prizes, which have been kindly donated from several local companies and individuals.
Tickets are priced at £5, available from Sandinos Bar and all donations are also welcomed. Doors open at 9pm and all are welcome.
