Austins department store is collecting bras to raise money for Breast Cancer research. For every old, new, too big or too small bra donated The Marie Keating Foundation will receive a donation.
Austins is now open to bra donations at the Clarins counter.
Every year, over 2,750 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Ireland.
To help reduce this number, the Marie Keating Foundation wants all women to become more breast aware. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they encourage all women to check their breasts and continue to do so year-round.
Then, take breast-awareness one step further and give bras for breast cancer! All kinds of bras – any shape, any size, any style and any condition.
For every bra donated, the Marie Keating Foundation will receive £1.
The Marie Keating Foundation will use all the funds raised by the Give your Bra for Breast Cancer campaign to fund cancer awareness campaigns.
More people can become aware of the symptoms and signs of cancer and the healthy lifestyle changes that all can make to help prevent it. For directions and free downloadable posters and collection labels, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
Bring unwanted bras to the nearest drop off point (Austins Dept Store Clarins counter) – all over Ireland in shops, offices, schools and workplaces. Alternatively, pop the bra in an envelope and send it to Bras for Breast Cancer, 5th Floor, Huguenot House, 35 – 38 Stephens Green, Dublin 2.
